Sign up to be on the Tri Club Roster!
I've had a number of requests to publish a club roster with contact information so that members can reach each other to set up workouts, etc. outside of the email list. For privacy reasons, I don't feel comfortable sending this information out to everyone without permission. Therefore, I created a Zoomerang survey by which you can opt into the roster.

If you want to, you can visit the link below, fill in the information you want to appear on the roster, and submit it to me. After the survey closes, I will gather the responses and send them out only to the other members who have opted in. This means that only those members who opt into the roster will receive copies of the final roster; people who do not opt in will not receive the roster.

If you're interested in having your name and contact information included in the club roster, please visit the link below and complete the survey:

Bike Clinic on June 7 Rescheduled... http://www.aatriclub.org/news/archives/2008/06/bike_clinic_on.php
It turns out that Saturday, June 7, is too crazy for Cadence Cycle to schedule a bicycle maintenance repair class. That day is also the grand opening of their new store, so Cadence owner, Jon Sherman, and I are going to reschedule the clinic for a later date. I had hoped to get the clinic in before the Ann Arbor Tri on Sunday, but it's not to be. I'll send out another notification once we have decided on a date for the clinic.

Sorry!

Special Upcoming Events http://www.aatriclub.org/news/archives/2008/06/special_upcomin.php I want to remind everyone that we have a couple of special events coming up. Here's the scoop:

Important Note: I will make announcements each week on club workouts. If you do not read about a workout on this main page, then you can assume it is not happening. The workouts section of our website lists potential workouts, not workouts that necessarily happen each week.

Bike Repair/Maintenance Clinic at Cadence Cycle on Saturday, June 7:
More details are forthcoming, but this weekend is the GRAND OPENING for the new Cadence Cycle Store in Saline. As part of the festivities, owner Jon Sherman has generously offered to have a bike repair/maintenance clinic for the club. The clinic will probably take place in the early afternoon. Jon and I are still working out the details, but I will let you know as soon as I know more.

Ann Arbor Tri Club Tent at the A2 Triathlon on Sunday, June 8th:
Not only will club members be volunteering to be marshals on the bike course, but we'll also have volunteers staffing a club tent. The tent will offer the following:

* *FREE* massages to club members after the race
* Refreshments for everyone, racers and family members alike
* Secure storage for valuables during the race (within certain size limits)
* A place to hang out, learn more about the club, meet other members, and pick up club merchandise

Reminder: If you need a member card or have lost yours, please email me (rusty@aatriclub.org) and I'll send it to you ASAP.

I hope to see you at these fun events!
