Ni hao! Xia Tian Quai Le (almost.)
Alright, so it's not actually xia tian (summer) yet, but we're getting
there. I know it's 45 and wet outside, but the trees have some leaves
and the black flies are out at the Poto. Just think, in a few weeks,
we'll be dusting off the wetsuits and hitting the lakes. Summer is only
a few fortnights away...(to be read in a dreamy, contended voice, while
smiling and thinking longingly of floundering about in Silver lake
while crazy rednecks throw sopping wet nerf footballs at your head and
submerge the buoys so you have nothing to sight.)
OK, snap out of it! It's time for the rest of the news and such.
Member Meeting - I hope you all enjoyed it. Please provide
feedback; I'm happy to hear it. For example, "the sandwiches were good
but your presentation was dreadfully boring."
Thursday, 30 April
Bricks - It was officially decided last week
at the member meeting to hold the bricks out of Lilly Park. Please meet
at the south entrance on Platt at 6:30. Route is a 16 mile loop with
plenty of opportunity for expansion.
Rusty has dutifully volunteered to lead the brick. However, if it looks
like rain outside, he will cancel it because he is delicate and his
angora tri suit will not fare well in the rain.
Saturday, 2 May
Morning Run Sponsored by Running Fit - Club partner, Running Fit, sponsors
a 6-8 mile run starting promptly at 9:03 a.m. out of Gallup Park. Meet at the

coordinator, Sean (seangeary@yahoo.com.)
Running Fit offers perks for showing up weekly, starting with a free water
bottle after 6 runs and working up to a free tech shirt after 18.
