Gobble, gobble, gobble,

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I write to you from Atlanta, where I have just completed the Atlanta Half Marathon with Jon and my childhood best friend. She had never done a race of any sort, nor had she run over six miles, but she signed up anyway. I am happy to report that we all finished, and are now ready to do some serious eating. The day was beautiful (60-degrees and sunny) and the course was great; we were routed through the skyscrapers of Midtown and past the Olympic torch. I was grossly under trained, but had a nice time. I hope everyone is having a nice time today, as well.
And now for the news:
Design the New Tri Club Kit - We have had much interest in getting club kit last year, but my total lack of artistic abilities didn't get us anywhere. Now I am asking for your help.
Please submit a design for Louis Garneau Delfino Racer Top and Delfino Bottom by 12/19. See their website for more info. On the right side of the page, there is more info about templates and colors. Garneau prints their designs, so there is no limit to the number of colors you can use.
Here are some other requirements:
-must say AATC or Ann Arbor Tri Club somewhere
-must use the logo of our sponsors
Please e-mail me for more information, and I can share the sponsor logos with you. Good luck!
AATC Club Races - We would like to put on a series of small, very casual races just for club members this year. Rusty and Jon have graciously volunteered to get the races going, but they could use one more person to help out. Please let me know if you are interested.

And now for the workouts:

Saturday, November 28
Spinning at Body Specs
 - This Saturday @ BSI from 8-9 am. Bring your own bike, trainer and $5. Turnout was low last week, but Edie has agreed to run it for another 4 weeks to gauge interest. Please arrive by 7:45 to allow time for set-up.

Run - Heather Woolls will be leading an easy 5-7 mile run out of Gallup Park at 9 a.m. Please meet at the wooden car bridge. For the ambitious, make it a brick after doing the Body Specs workout.

Tuesday, December 1
Tuesday Track Club Workout
 - Workouts have moved INSIDE! Come have your butt handed to you by the track club. Workout starts at 7:30 (not 7:00) in the field house. The bad news is that the price is now $5, but the good news is that we get the track all to ourselves (that means no more pole vaulters or 8-year-old's out-running you.) This week: 800m, 1200m, 1600m, 1200m, 800m, 400m jog.

That's all for now. If you have any gripes, let me know.
