The weekly email, or other important updates

Weekly Happenings: 6/25-7/1

An Nyoung (don't worry, I won't steal your frozen banana stand.)
It
is officially summer! The solstice has come and gone, and it is
legitimately warm outside; I won't say hot, because I am pretending
that I LOVE the heat and humidity in preparation for Ironman Louisville
in August, and this is honestly nothing compared to what those poor
guys in Kentucky are experiencing right now (I know, whose brilliant
idea was having an Ironman in August?)
While I'm on the subject, is anyone doing IMLoo? Or Waterloo? Or T-Rex?

Weekly Happenings: 6/18-6/25

Konnichiha,
I have no idea how to say "members" in Japanese, and it's not a very
popular question on the googles. However, I feel Japanese is
appropriate, as I am trapped in southwestern Indiana for work (Toyota.)
The good news is that I'm working night shift, so I have a good chance
to work out in the middle of the day in the heat. The bad news is I
don't have a bike, and thus can only run outside, leaving me prey to
the local fitness establishments. I may have completely overwhelmed the
receptionist at my chosen facility (called "Bob's") with my questions:

Weekly Happenings: 6/11-6/17

Tere Liikmed,
As I watch the Wings fight for the Stanley Cup, I can't help but think
about why I like our sport. Regardless of how fast or slow the
competition completes the course, triathlon is almost always about you
versus the course. The guy next to you may have trained more, but had
one too many bon bons the day before, so you prevail. Maybe next time,
the tables will be turned. Regardless, if you can't make it through the
course, it doesn't matter one way or the other. This is what I love
about triathlon - doing the best YOU can do on any given day.

Weekly Happenings: 6/4-6/10

Здравствуйте участники,

I'm sending the e-mail out a bit early this week because I want to make
sure you have a chance to actually read it before the brick (I know, I
know, not all of you are glued to your i-phone/crackberry like I am.)
So here's the good word for this week.

Ann Arbor Tri: The Ann Arbor Triathlon is this Sunday at Half
Moon Lake. I am sure many of you are racing, so I just want you to know
that the Tri Club has your back. We will again be setting up our tent

IMPORTANT: Brick Info

Members,

Check out today's brick route below. Also, start time will be 6, not 6:30. See you tonight.

Weekly Happenings: 5/21-5/27

Здравствуйте!
Just a few
painfully long weeks ago, the idea of a day in the 80's was nothing
more than an image burned into my mind...wait, make that leg, as the
number "25" is still burned into the back of my calf from the hottest
race ever in New Orleans. Now that the day has come, here in our fair
Michigan, I am thrilled. I'm ready to sweat; I'm ready to ditch the
sleeves; I'm ready to get my farmer's tan going; I'm ready for salt
tablets; most importantly, I'm ready to race.
Fortunately, that

Halló Medlem!
As you may already know, it is Bike to Work Week, and I am attempting to take part. However, being an unreasonable triathlete, I can't help but get the urge to drop the hammer as soon as I clip in. I am always beaming when I come clopping in, red-faced and encased in spandex and sweat. Perhaps my co-workers are less excited, but that's what the shower in the basement is (theoretically) for. Anyhow, I hope you are also logging some good miles. In the mean time, here's some reading for you about what's new with the club.

Weekly Happenings: 4/30-5/6

Ni hao! Xia Tian Quai Le (almost.)
Alright, so it's not actually xia tian (summer) yet, but we're getting
there. I know it's 45 and wet outside, but the trees have some leaves
and the black flies are out at the Poto. Just think, in a few weeks,
we'll be dusting off the wetsuits and hitting the lakes. Summer is only
a few fortnights away...(to be read in a dreamy, contended voice, while
smiling and thinking longingly of floundering about in Silver lake
while crazy rednecks throw sopping wet nerf footballs at your head and
submerge the buoys so you have nothing to sight.)

Weekly Happenings: 4/16-4/21

Weekly Happenings: 4/9-4/15

Ahoj Členové,
I have returned from a successful race in New Orleans, and I have the
sunburns to prove it (my age is burned into the back of my calf.)
Despite my despair at the three inches of snow on the ground when I got
back, I am pumped up and ready to go. I do hope you will join me.
Here's the big news for this week:
